LK Industries' state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and services are housed in our 350,000-square-foot facility at our Jacksonville, Florida headquarters. Here, we combine Lean manufacturing principles with the state-of-the-art Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) technology and expert craftsmanship in wood, metals, laminates and solid-surface materials to ensure the highest quality fit and finish.
In 2006, we continued our journey towards Lean and sent our senior executives to Japan to meet with Toyota and other Lean Japanese manufacturers. At home, we completed our transition to cell-based manufacturing and renewed our focus on continuous improvement.
We will always strive for more innovative and efficient ways to meet the needs of our clients. Moreover, we develop designs and fabrication techniques to simplify installation and maintenance, and make downstream upgrades or alterations easier. Our modular designs arrive pre-wired and pre-plumbed for fast installation and earlier store opening dates.
